Affordable Spring Decor You Can’t Live Without

Blog

It may not feel like spring outside yet, but the calendar says it is spring and I have put away the winter decor and added some simple spring touches to our home.

Spring for me means light and airy, clean and uncluttered.  I have added most of my spring touches, but I still need to get some pillow covers and a couple of throws.  So I took to the web for some online shopping and decided I should share my finds with you, my lovely readers!

Spring Pillow Covers

Spring is time for a clean slate and fresh decor. Pillow covers are one of  the easiest ways to change up your decor and they take up a lot less space to store during the off seasons. I just love the colors and designs on these cute pillow covers!

Spring Throws

Spring still has it’s chilly mornings and cool evenings.  What better way to cozy up than under a great throw?

Artificial Spring Flowers

The beginning of spring in Indiana isn’t usually very kind to real flowers.  We will get some teasers of warm weather and the flowers will poke their heads out, only to be scared away with the next cold snap.  So I use artificial flowers in my decor until I can cut my own from my flower beds.  Artificial flowers have come along way, they aren’t your grandmama’s fake flowers anymore!   Put them in unusual containers and they will just shout SPRING!  Want to know how to get the most bang for your buck when buying artificial flowers?  This post will show you how I do it.

These are just a few ways to add spring to your decor, but they will make things feel much lighter and brighter…pinkie swear!

Now…go forth and decorate!

P.S. Be on the lookout later this week when I reveal my master bathroom makeover!  I only had a budget of $100, do you think I managed to stay on budget?

P.S.S. Our featured bloggers from our first ever Create and Celebrate Blog Party will be announced April 1st, Pam, from mommacan.com, and I are super excited to share these great bloggers with you!
